Description

A premium, wide-tapered square cellular PVC column wrap featuring a clean, smooth-skinned surface. This non-structural wrap is engineered to encase standard load-bearing porch posts, providing a grand, architectural alternative to traditional straight columns. Manufactured using high-quality "Free Rise" cellular PVC and precision lock-miter joints, it offers a rock-solid, seamless finish that permanently resists warping, splitting, decay, and insects.

Specifications

• Surface Style: Smooth, un-paneled classic wide taper

• Shaft Dimensions: Tapers from 19 ¾” square at the bottom to 9 ⅜” square at the top

• Interior Structural Clearance: Minimum 7 ⅞” square clear space inside

• Material Thickness: Extra-thick ⅝” or ¾” PVC for lengths up to 8 feet; upgraded to full ¾” thick PVC for columns over 8 feet tall for maximum structural rigidity

• Georgian Capital & Base (Standard): Adds approx. 4 ½" to the footprint. Top finishes at 13 ⅞” square; bottom finishes at 24” square.

• Box / Craftsman Capital & Base (Optional): 3" high trim that adds only 1 ¼” to shaft thickness. Top finishes at 10 ⅝” square; bottom finishes at 21 ¼” square (recommended for tight spaces).

Included Kit

Flat-packed four-piece interlocking smooth shaft panels, Georgian Capital and Base set, internal installation mounting cleats, fastening hardware, PVC adhesive, structural assembly tape, and detailed instructions.

Installation & Customization

Note Standard sizing can be factory-cut to any custom height at no additional charge (order the next size up; the capital fits over the shaft to allow up to 2" of height tolerance). Capital and base components are intentionally shipped slightly oversized to accommodate variations in structural posts and may require quick, on-site trimming with a standard chop saw before final fastening to prevent spacing gaps.

Upgrades & Options

• Pilaster Application: Can be ordered as a half-column wall-mount pilaster to fit flush against exterior or interior walls at 60% of the full column cost.
