Description
A low-maintenance cellular PVC post cover engineered to encase standard 4x4 wooden structural posts. The four-panel shaft features precise lock-mitered edges for effortless on-site assembly, providing a durable, weather-resistant exterior update that eliminates the need for painting while resisting rot, warping, and insects.
Specifications
Shaft Dimensions: 5" x 5" actual exterior width with an approximate 4" x 4" square interior clearance.
Material: 3/8" to 1/2" thick premium cellular PVC.
Joint Type: Lock-mitered edges on all sides for a clean, stable glue assembly.
Height Sizing: Selected height includes the capital and base trim as part of the total dimension.
Trim Set: Includes a 3/4" thick, 5" wide PVC capital and base trim set designed for the top and bottom of the column.
Included Kit: Column shaft panels, pre-cut capital and base parts, PVC adhesive, and tape. Some shimming material may be required on site.
Multi-Piece Shipping Options: Affordable 9ft and 10ft configurations designed to bypass expensive truck freight fees via standard parcel shipping. Available as a two-piece split shaft (8ft + 1ft or 8ft + 2ft) with a decorative astragal trim included to conceal the seam, or as a single 8ft shaft featuring a 24" telescopic, overlapping tall base that can be cut down to the desired height on site.
