Description
A massive-scale, low-maintenance cellular PVC column wrap featuring an elegant recessed panel design for large structural post applications. Constructed from premium "Free Rise" cellular PVC, the lightweight yet exceptionally strong four-panel shaft utilizes a precision lock-miter system for simple, seamless on-site assembly, providing lifetime resistance against rot, warping, and insects.
Specifications
Shaft Dimensions: 13 ⅞” actual exterior width with an approximate 12” square interior clearance.
Material: 1" thick premium "Free Rise" cellular PVC panels.
Joint Type: High-strength lock-miter design for clean, seamless glue assembly.
Standard Heights: Available in seamless, custom architectural heights up to 20 feet tall.
Trim Configurations: Includes a robust 1 ½" thick Contemporary PVC Base and a premium Georgian Capital crafted from a 3" to 5" PVC cornice molding (scaled to the column height).
Trim Footprints: The Contemporary base adds 3" to the shaft width, creating a finished 17” overall footprint. Base elevation is 8" tall for columns up to 16 feet, increasing to 12" tall for 18-foot and 20-foot configurations.
Panel Customization: Includes an adjustable middle panel divider taped in place for optional on-site installation. Columns over 12 feet tall require this divider to seamlessly conceal the panel joint line.
Included Kit: Multi-section column panels, capital and base trim components, 6 to 8 oz. of specially formulated PVC adhesive, tape, installation cleats, and instructions. Columns over 18 feet also include an astragal trim.
Upgrades & Variations: Tuscan capital and base configurations, or half-column pilasters for wall-mount applications available at 60% of the full column cost.
